​CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY
​
A Clinical Psychologist is a specialist trained within the NHS (UK) for a minimum of 6 years, within different academic and clinical specialisms. They will use a variety of approaches to apply psychological theory and research in order to increase wellbeing or decrease distress in their clients.
​
As is a legal requirement in the UK, I have HCPC registration (PYL16960) as a Practitioner Psychologist. This is the regulatory body for clinical psychologists. You can check my registration here.
I am also a BPS Chartered Clinical Psychologist (CPsychol), an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (AFBPsS), full member of Division of Clinical Psychology (DCP) and the Register of Applied Psychology Supervisors (RAPPS)
